Motorola has pulled out all the stops with their Moto X, an Android phone created by Google-owned Motorola. It can be customized to your liking – you can choose different colors for the front, back, and accents, you can customize a signature to put on the back of the phone and also when the phone boots up, you can even sync your Google account so that as soon as you get the phone you can start using it.
Motorola has said that they would release wooden backs for the Moto X, and today they have announced bamboo material for the back. They said more would be available later, but at the moment, bamboo is it. I think it looks pretty good, actually. The only downside, in my opinion, is that you need to pay an extra $100 for it. $100 worth of bamboo is actually quite a lot – but it does make your phone look more natural. Only time will tell how many people will actually spring for one.
